Jason and Jen Joling began dreaming of a retreat village after Jen returned from a trip to Arizona. Jen traveled to Arizona for a retreat hosted by Dinah Monahan and Psalm 51 Ministry. This retreat was a maiden journey for Jen after completing Dinah's Bible studies "Giving God Your Worst" and "Breaking the Shackles of Shame." While there, Jen knew the midwest needed a retreat village akin to Dinah's Arizona "Robin's Nest." She shared the idea with Jason and they began dreaming with the Lord to bring their plan to life. 

 

The project of building this ministry began in Wisconsin Rapids, WI and soon after starting it the Lord moved the Jolings to Minocqua, WI and turned their world upside down.

 

Jason and Jen have been utilizing their property to host retreats for the "Freedom Studies" and, upon completion of the entire retreat village, they plan to host retreats for service members like firefighters, police, first responders, and veterans who are in need of respite. Other ministry groups will also be able to utilize the property and it's amenities in the future.
